In June 2005 Riviera immediately purchased her moved her to 'The East Lancs Railway' for initial repairs to take place.

The loco later moved to Barrow Hill for bogie repairs, then moved to L&NWR for TPWS and OTMR fitment.

She returned to the mainline in December 2006 reinstated with her 'RESOLVE' nameplates but failed with sister 47815 on a Freightliner Intermodal service destined for Southampton.
