47812 was named 'PRIDE OF EASTLEIGH' at a private ceremony at Eastleigh Depot on 6th February 2002 after being repainted in Virgin livery. When Virgin Cross Country retired the loco in May 2003 she was then leased to Freightliner Heavy Haul.
The locomotive was acquired by Riviera Trains on 1st January 2005. Retaining her Virgin livery with red buffer beams, she was repainted in November 2005 by 'Midi Specialist Services' at Old Oak Common into Heritage Two Tone Green with yellow cab ends to commemorate her 40th Anniversary of mainline service on British Railways.
In August 2006 47812 was selected for requirement of long term use with Direct Rail Services for use on Flask trains.
