OM03 The 'OM03’ train set is made up of refurbished traditional Mk1 First and Standard class coaches. Most vehicles painted in former traditional British Railways liveries which now represent the classic liveries carried in the late 1950's and early 1960's time period before the corporate days of the British Rail Blue and Grey era. The train is liveried in deep BR Maroon livery, representing a classic train set consisting of both First and Standard class accommodation with, if required a Kitchen Car and Buffet Car to provide Silver Service dinning or general light refreshments. The coach interiors are individually trimmed with different cloths making the train a very classic environment to travel in. The train is air braked to operate with both modern and ‘Heritage’ diesel locomotives, it is also ideal to operate with Network Rail registered air braked Steam locomotives running on the national network. A generator car can be provided for ‘independent’ train heating during the winter months if required.

The Riviera Mk1 train provides a perfect environment for relaxing travel. Our First Class accommodation offers ample space where you can enjoy your day out and simply unwind. Seats are perfected in relaxing shades of colours with each table featuring a traditional lamp and a soft headrest. Throughout your journey our on-board stewards can provide a fine at seat Silver Service with a newspaper at your First Class seat. WC WC

Well maintained and exceptional comfortable, our Standard class 64 seats vehicles are trimmed in blue moquette with all seats having tables for 4 persons. The Buffet car which is included in most train formations is a great place to have a drink and discuss the events of the day. A trolley service can be provided to supplement the buffet car service on certain trains by arrangement. WC

'The ‘OM03' train set is typically made up of 12 vehicles with at least one Mk2a barrier vehicle to meet operational requirements. The seating configuration of First and Standard class seats can be made up to suit each customer requirement. These vehicles now represent some of the very best of the last remaining Mk1 vehicles operating on Network Rail lines in the 21st Century.
