On this page you will find details of the train sets that are owned and operated by Riviera Trains Limited, who are the largest and the only truly independent train and coaching stock provider in Britain. We pride ourselves on being able to look after customers requirements.

Our train sets which are listed below give you an on board overview, description and floor plan for each train set. There are also photographs for reference which feature both interior and exterior views of each of our train sets.

‘The British Classic’ - The original high quality general purpose Mk1 train set providing a mix of premier, first and standard class seats for railtours and general days out.

‘The Royal Scot’ - The traditional Mk1 premier dining car train which provides plenty of exceptional quality first class accommodation in armchair seats around tables of two or four seats. Standard class seats are also available in this train set.

‘OM03 Set’ - Another high quality general purpose Mk1 train can providing premier dining, first and standard class seating. Also offering a buffet car facility providing hot & cold snacks with an additional trolley service.

‘The Great Briton’ - The modern luxury 'Pullman' dining car train, providing up to 336 premier first class dining seats for day excursion, land cruise and special event trains.

‘The Pride of the Nation’ - The modern VIP, high capacity air conditioned maroon Mk2 train that provides premier dining for premier and first class seating. Ideally used for land cruise trains.

‘The Norfolkman’ - The modern high capacity mixed formation train providing premier dining first and standard class seats. Offering a buffet car facility providing hot & cold snacks with an additional trolley service is also available.

‘The West Coast Set’ - The modern mixed formation train of premier dining first class and standard class seats and offering a buffet car facility for any short or long distance charter train requirement.

‘The Sporting Event Train’ – We have a number of high capacity ‘people mover’ train sets offering up to 700 standard class seats with a buffet car service for short or long distance Sporting Event & General charter train requirements.

All the above train sets can feature both First and Standard Class Vehicles with the addition of catering vehicles as required, to include Kitchen Cars for full at seat dining services or Buffet Cars for a light refreshment service.

To provide for the various types of diesel and steam locomotives which frequently haul our train sets, but are unable to provide a train heat supply, we have available in our fleet a number of Generator power cars.
