Travelling to the Races...

Riviera Trains often provide private trains for valued customers to the Cheltenham Festival, Royal Ascot and Ebor Races. Totesport have been a regular client for many years providing project & guest management services including transfers from station to the racecourse. Where better than on a private train to check form and enjoy the company of other race goers?

The Golf Train...

Riviera Trains regularly provided the 'The Great Briton' train set of high quality First Class coaches for clients to travel in to The Royal Open golfing events. The Train is available to operate from any part of the country and over virtually all routes to suit the client’s needs.

Our ‘The Great Briton’ charter train set has been provided to a well known Midlands businessman to take all his friends on his ‘Birthday Bashes’ to Scotland for three days play golf; it’s a fantastic time had by all!

To the Exhibition...

The event organisers needed to bring buyers to the Meetings & Incentive Travel Show and to get them home at the end of the day, saving accommodation costs. The solution, provided by Riviera Trains, was to offer their buyers a private train & armchair-style First Class seats for comfortable travel and productive visit planning & networking time. The exhibitors also appreciated the managed environment for value time with buyers & visitors. The full-size tables are ideal for hospitality or presentations. 'The Buyer Flyer' was the perfect answer for all parties.

Locomotive Spot Hire...

With a well maintained locomotive fleet Riviera Trains can provide up to 10 locomotives for either Spot Hire, Charter Trains, TOC work or even long term arrangements. The locomotives available are of the British Rail Class 47 type, running at a maximum speed of 95mph. All locomotives are fitted with a Electric Train Heat supply and are one of the most reliable source of locomotive in the UK. The majority of our fleet are based at Crewe (Cheshire), or Eastleigh (Hampshire), depending on your requirements. We have been known to successfully provide locomotives within several hours of being notified. At Riviera we are commitment and devoted to meet your requirements.

Filming Location Services...

Riviera Trains can provide carriages as locations both on and off the railway. A range of carriages can be provided throughout the UK such as an Inspection saloon carriage, a Pullman carriage, a modern Intercity style First Class, a "door slammer" Standard Class or even a freight vehicle.

DB Schenker (Formally EWS) Charter Alliance - 12th March 2007

EWS Network and Riviera Trains are pleased to announce the launch of the Charter Alliance, a dedicated provider of reliable and high class specialist passenger rail services.

The Charter Alliance will build upon the strengths of both EWS Network and Riviera in the supply of charter trains to a wide range of customers, including businesses, football clubs, film companies and individual customers.  This is an alliance that provides stability and certainty for customers, and creates a service provider with over 20 combined years of consistent and reliable service delivery.

Riviera Trains is the leading provider of charter trains to a wide range of rail touring companies and EWS Network is the most reliable and dedicated operator of specialist passenger services in Britain.  The strengths of each company, combined through the Charter Alliance, will build upon the exceptional reputation of both companies to make the strongest and most reliable charter trains provider in Britain.  From the initial enquiry to the last passenger stepping off the train and onto the platform, the Charter Alliance will plan and deliver the train service exactly as promised for its customers.

The Charter Alliance will be launched on Sunday 1st April.  The first trains to be operated by the Charter Alliance will be four private football specials – two for Bristol Rovers Football Club and two for Doncaster Rovers Football Club.  These trains will convey nearly 2,500 travelling supporters to the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy Final at Cardiff’s Millennium Stadium.
