The Royal Scot
'The Royal Scot' train set is normally made up of up to
8 luxury Mk1 First Class vehicles, with a small number
of Standard Class MK2a vehicles. To provide the at seat
dinning car service the train will normally consist of
up to two Kitchen Cars and a staff Brake vehicle. The
train can operate with both Steam and Diesel traction
over most parts of the Network Rail system.
If a buffet car is required as part of 'The Ocean Liner'
train set a vehicle providing 44 Standard Class seats is
normally situated between First and Standard Class.
‘The Royal Scot’ train is currently being refurbished
both externally and internally to provide a very high
standard of quality for our travelling passengers,
creating one of the very best traditional Heritage
dining car trains running in the UK.
Our classic coaches provide large windows, with
traditional armchair-style seats, table lamps and
headrest covers. All seats benefit from full-size tables
with white table cloths and flowers in sumptuous
surroundings.
Fine Silver Service dining is provided, with all food
chef-prepared from fresh ingredients in our
fully-equipped onboard kitchens. The train can be
branding and themed with onboard entertainment options
if required to meet all individual requirements.
All our trains operate as totally Non
Smoking for the enjoyment of the majority of
passengers.
Normally the maximum load for a charter
train is 13 coaches running on the National
network.
