The West Coast Set 'The West Coast Set' is made up of up to include 8 x luxury Mk2f, ex-Virgin West Coast First Class vehicles, giving 42 seats per vehicle. To provide the at seat dinning car service the train will normally consist of either one or two Kitchen cars. This set is identical to 'The Great Briton' but still carries the classic Virgin Trains livery it did until recently, working services between London, Manchester and Glasgow. This livery is still retained being in excellent condition and also matching the Standard Class coaches. There is normally a dedicated buffet car for 'The West Coast Set'. This being a Mk2 "RFO" air-conditioned coach consisting of 25 Club Class seats with a specific facility to provide a disabled wheelchair space. The air conditioned carriages are spacious offering large panoramic windows with armchair-style seats with headrest covers. All seats benefit from full-size tables with table lamps. A Silver Dining car service can be provided, steward-served and chef-prepared food from daily fresh ingredients in fully-equipped onboard kitchens. Trains can be branding and themed with an onboard entertainment option if required.

Spacious and exceptional comfort, the First Class seats are perfected in relaxing shades of maroon. When laid up for dining each table features fresh flowers, with a table lamp and overhead reading light. Not forgetting the spacious legroom, a soft headrest and reclining seats each carriage provides air conditioned comfort with large panoramic windows one per table to make your journey memorable. The Standard class Mk2 coach interiors are finished in shades of green and blue moquette and are presented to a high standard of presentation. Each vehicle offers 64 seats with most seats around a table for 4 persons. Luggage racks are provided for those passengers travelling overnight, these are situated at each end of the coach and there is also overhead storage space above each seat. These coaches offer excellent comfort for long distance charter train travel. WC

'The West Coast Set' can be made up of up to include up to 10 x luxury Mk2 First Class vehicles, giving 42 seats per vehicle. Most vehicles have retained their Virgin livery with some recently painted in 'Riviera’ livery.
